There have been some fears surrounding the future of Marvel’s Netflix shows. Within a short time span, they canceled both Iron Fist and Luke Cage without a lot of info where these characters could show up again. There was hope we could see a Heroes for Hire show that would bring them together, but there hasn’t been much news since. It was especially strange that Luke Cage got canceled after already having a writers room together. Now, after one of its best seasons to date, people are worried that Daredevil might face a similar fate. Luckily, it seems that there are conversations happening as Erik Oleson, the showrunner for the third season has already pitched his ideas for an additional season.

It is great to see the showrunner of one of Marvel’s best Netflix seasons so far already has an idea for a fourth season and hopefully, Netflix will continue the franchise. Still, it does seem like Netflix isn’t too thrilled about Disney’s plans in entering the streaming market. Disney+ will be quite the competition and, as such, the current streaming giant might pull the plug on the shows to focus on its own content rather than helping out its upcoming competitor. Still, we hope that there is still a future for these shows and that there is a chance that Luke and Danny could potentially return down the line.
What are your thoughts on the matter? What do you want in the fourth season of Daredevil?
