Allan Heinberg, who was recently revealed to be developing an all-female team-up MCU show for ABC, isn’t the only Wonder Woman writer to make his way into the MCU. According to our friends at That Hashtag Show, Wonder Woman 1984 and Godzilla writer David Callaham has been commissioned to write an upcoming MCU film.

Callaham boarded the new project earlier this month, but at this time we are unable to learn the specifics of the project. We do know that it is a film and not one of the limited series currently being developed for Disney Play.

That Hashtag Show believes that the film is not part of the publicly known post-Avengers 4 slate – Black Widow, Eternals, Black Panther 2 – but an unannounced film. Coincidentally a few weeks back, That Hashtag Show also revealed that a script for a Dark Avengers film was penned for Marvel Studios. Callaham is no stranger to the MCU (he did uncredited writing on the first Ant-Man) and writing ensemble films featuring rowdy characters; The Expandables franchise was based on a script by him. Overall, we can’t wait to see what they have Callaham writing.
