Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is proving to be a game-changing movie for the MCU since it will introduce the concept of the multiverse. In light of the shocking departure of Scott Derrickson as director of the sequel, production is still being fast-tracked given the reports of casting calls for unnamed villains, a possible introduction of  Young Avenger America Chavez as well as an intriguing leaked synopsis. And now, another casting call points to the appearance of another Marvel Sorcerer in the form of Brother Voodoo.

The Illuminerdi shared that they were able to get a hold of a casting call for the movie which describes a supporting character as someone who is of Caribbean descent hailing from Haiti. Even if the casting call doesn’t specifically give the name of the character, it gives a major hint that the character is Jericho Drumm a.k.a. Brother Voodoo.

For those who are unaware, Drumm is a key player in the world of Doctor Strange, having been given the mantle of the Sorcerer Supreme at one point. We’ve met his brother Daniel Drumm in the first film in a small role so we have at least that established connection. Nonetheless, it’ll be interesting to see the film delve into the current state of magic in the MCU following the destruction of the Time Stone in Avengers: Endgame.
