Have no fear K’un-Lunians, your Immortal Weapon is well underway getting ready for the second season of his solo Netflix show.  That’s right, actor Finn Jones has been seen starting to prepare for the sophomore entry of Iron Fist.

Thanks to the fansite Finn Jones Central (@finnjonescom) we caught a glimpse of Jones and his martial arts trainer, presumably in a gym somewhere in the Big Apple.  This ought to be a welcome sight to most fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with one of the biggest criticisms of the first season being the weak fight scenes, a major disappointment to many as the show featured one of the best fighters to come from the Marvel Comicsverse.

Back in August, Jones actually spoke with Inverse to discuss what we can expect from an improved Danny Rand come season two.

We’re at least four or five months away from shooting, so this time around, I’m being given a lot more preparation leading up to Season 2, which I think is really gonna have a huge improvement on the quality of the fight scenes in Season 2 of Iron Fist.

Netflix and Marvel Television are moving right along with the “Phase Two” of shows with The Punisher slated to debut sometime in the next two months (allegedly) and four shows in various stages of production.  Jessica Jones has recently wrapped filming on its second season while Iron Fist’s partner Power Man is currently filming the second season of Luke Cage.

Using Jones’ language, this would mean filming for Iron Fist season would kick off right around the holidays, a month or two after Daredevil season three is scheduled to start production.
