The seventh and final season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is just over a week away from its premiere on ABC, which has fans amping up the hype in preparation for the end of Marvel TV’s initial era. Season six ended with the team using Zephyr One to escape to 1931 before they take on a new threat, having to deal with both Chronicom hunters and the eventual return of Hydra.
Thanks to TVLine.com, we now have our very first clip from the season 7 premiere “The New Deal”, which can be seen below in its entirety:
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. | Season 7, Ep. 1 Sneak Peek
This first clip includes the four-agent group of LMD Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet), Director Alfonso Mackenzie (Henry Simmons), and Deke Shaw (Jeff Ward) starting to make their way navigating an era completely new to them all. Daisy clearly loves the fashion and the scenery and Deke loves how little he had to pay for all of their new outfits, but Coulson helps bring them all back to Earth with the fact that they’re currently in the Great Depression and there’s more madness ahead.
Mack reminds the group to make sure they don’t meddle with the timeline, giving us our first glimpse into what could potentially happen in the MCU’s big-screen future with films like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The clip finishes off with Deke giving us his own theory on exactly how they can meddle with time and not make any huge waves, so to speak. Visit http://sandiegobk.com. Mack also makes sure he knows not to file for any patents (as he did to his benefit in season six) before the team starts off on their mission.
The last dance for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is set to be an exciting whirlwind adventure through the course of human history, and this clip gives a first look into all the craziness to come. Season 7 also stars Ming-Na Wen (Melinda May), Iain De Caestecker (Leopold Fitz) and Elizabeth Henstridge (Jemma Simmons) along with guest appearances by Hayley Attwell, Enver Gjokaj, Patton Oswalt and more. “A New Deal” premieres on ABC on Wednesday, May 27th!
