Over the weekend, photos of Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders on the set of a Marvel Studios film appeared and we, like many sites, jumped the gun believing they might be from the set of Captain Marvel. We’ve since updated that story and learned from people near the set that day that it was not readily clear what movie was being filmed that day, but that it most likely was NOT Captain Marvel. We don’t have to worry about that with these new photos which clearly show Brie Larson on set.

If you recall, we were the first to tell you that they would be doing some filming for Captain Marvel this week and, despite many expert claims to the contrary, there was. While these set photos don’t reveal Brie Larson in the red and blue Captain Marvel suit just yet, they do give us our first look at Larson on the set. With filming set to continue throughout the week, we still believe it’s possible we will get our first look at Larson as Danver and, quite possibly, even in the suit.
