Over the past few weeks, we’ve been inundated with several photos from the set of *Spider-Man: Far From Home offering us a first look at the returning cast and Spidey’s new Noir suit. Noticeably absent from any of the photos was Jake Gyllenhaal‘s Mysterio. Well, some photos and videos have surfaced finally giving us what a live-action Mysterio would look like and holy hell, he looks amazing.

There’s so much to love about this look: the purple cape, the LED lights, the frazzled Gyllenhaal beard (upon closer inspection, that’s likely his stunt double). And with a comic accurate suit to begin with, I highly doubt Kevin Feige would rob of us the iconic fishbowl helmet. The photos and videos were shot in Prague, where all the carnival scenes were taking place. One of the videos has the Noir-suit Spidey face to face with Mysterio as some black vans pull up – Fury’s team perhaps or Europol. As the description indicates, this may very well be the conclusion of the film when the hero inevitably defeats the baddie. Regardless, seeing the character for the first time in live-action is immensely exciting.
