Disney’s own convention D23 is about to begin this week and it may be the biggest news cycle we get in weeks. Avengers: Infinity War will be presented to a lucky group of fans (which I’m already starting to hate) along with a bunch of other upcoming projects. Spotted about an hour ago in the convention floor was this life-sized statue of the Mad Titan, our first look at Thanos for Avengers: Infinity War with an updated costume and all. Check it out and weep.

Holy freaking moly. I know we’ve seen Thanos a bunch of times now but seeing this life-sized statue is just insane. Can’t imagine what it’ll be like on the actual floor. He’s got an updated costume which I’m guessing is his stripped down look sans the armor. The sleeveless look is a bit reminiscent of his farm get up in the epilogue of Infinity Gauntlet. I think the most notable part of this statue is how much it resembles Josh Brolin this time around. Brolin previously mo-capped Thanos in the first Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Age of Ultron but even then, Thanos never fully resembled him. Looks like they finally got him down.
What do you think of this Thanos statue? Are you willing to sell a kidney to own one of these bad boys? Let us know in the comments below!
