This is certainly the calm before the storm that (hopefully) should be San Diego Comic-Con 2016. Marvel’s presence at the convention has been confirmed and they are bringing all corners of their universe this year, after skipping out on the event last year. Not only will Marvel bring Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Doctor Strange to Hall H, but Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Luke Cage will get their time to shine at their own individual panels.
People in attendance will apparently get a preview shown to them, but just yesterday we got our first poster for the series. Outside of the short teaser following Jessica Jones and the set photos that have surfaced online, we have seen very little from the upcoming first season, until today. USA Today has revealed our first official still from Luke Cage.
Now the photo is not that exciting, besides the fact that it hopefully means we get to see even more, such as a trailer, by the end of the week. As for the photo itself, it shows Mike Colter in a suit smirking at a mysterious figure that appears to be Misty Knight (Simone Missick). Both will be at the Luke Cage panel in SDCC so we should learn plenty more about each of their characters, but until then the photo will have to be enough.
