Captain America: Civil War started filming in Atlanta on May 7th, and we’ve seen various set photos since then, which have given us a good at Frank Grillo in costume as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones.
Grillo made his way to the set about a week after production began, and filmed through May 21st, when he tweeted that he was on his way out of Atlanta. This immediately sent fans online into a frenzy, curious how much time Crossbones would actually get in the film.

Before heading out of Atlanta last week, Grillo took some time out of his busy schedule to chat with radio station 93.3 WMMR about his costume for the film and the reaction from fans once the set photos hit the web.
“It’s funny because people really responded to it – it went viral, trended [like crazy], so I’ve been getting phone calls.”
Talking about his film schedule and the various places the cast and crew will be heading to shoot, Grillo said that his part is in Atlanta:
“My part of it is down here in Atlanta, but I think they are going off to Berlin for a little while.”
Of course, while he has left Atlanta, this doesn’t necessarily mean he’s done filming for the film just yet. Currently, Grillo is working on season two of Kingdom, but earlier today he tweeted a message about Crossbones.
