After the release of Avengers: Infinity War, fans are frantically scrambling for any details regarding the still untitled Avengers 4. Kevin Feige and the Marvel team have been more tight-lipped about this than any other previous MCU film, and it makes people like us stare up at the ceiling at night wondering what the heck we could expect this time next year. Well, thanks to a recent comment by Gwyneth Paltrow, we may know one more thing about next summer’s film. In an interview with the official Avengers: Infinity War Magazine (via The Playlist), Paltrow may have accidentally released a major spoiler for Avengers 4.
Pepper and Tony have had a real long journey together. She obviously starts as his dutiful assistant, and then the relationship evolves, and now this decade later they’re married, and they have a child. Their relationship has evolved in all of the ways that great romances evolve.
Below is a screenshot of the actual quote in the magazine.

So, spoiler alert for Avengers: Infinity War, but we know that in the beginning of the movie, Robert Downey Jr’s Iron-Man mentioned a vivid dream about having a child to Pepper Potts as they were jogging through Central Park. He even mentioned the potential of naming the child Morgan. But, there was never any mention that Pepper was pregnant. Could this have been a deleted scene or could this be simply rhetorical talk from Paltrow about Pepper and Tony’s plan to start a family? Alternately, there’s always the possibility of time-travel or alternate universes coming into play.
Funnily enough, this isn’t the first time Paltrow inadvertently revealed a potential Avengers 4 spoiler. Last year, she posted a picture of herself in a mo-cap outfit leading everyone to speculate that she may don an armor sometime in the film. Either way, it seems as a child is on the way for everyone’s favorite IronParents. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below!
