It’s been so slow for us MCU fans, so we’re always happy when there’s anything substantial worth writing. Today, Murphy’s Multiverse revealed that the Hawkeye Disney+ series has a working title: Anchor Point. The name is a technical archery term that refers to “the spot on an archer’s face where they draw back their bow.”
There’s no telling when this project actually commences filming. Reports are saying California will start allowing film and TV productions to resume production sometime this month. But with no actress playing Kate Bishop in sight, this could take a while. On the top of their Disney+ priorities list is getting to the finish line with Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Wandavision, the former originally scheduled to air on August while the latter this fall. With all the delays going on, the chance of seeing the MCU Disney+ slate getting delayed is higher than ever.
