Mark Ruffalo has been making the waves recently, with his character Bruce Banner/the Hulk almost stealing the entire show in Thor: Ragnarok. In the film, Hulk gets a major personality upgrade by way of finally being able to speak coherently. He’s adorably impetuous and surprisingly emotional, explored traits that fans will surely love in the character’s supposed three-film arc from Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. And in Infinity War, these traits will surely be expressed when Hulk makes a new friend in Rocket Raccoon, as revealed by Mark Ruffalo in an interview with USA Today.

All of the universes coming together is just a sight gag within itself. It’s a very funny relationship that the two of them have: First of all, it’s the biggest superhero and the smallest. Just keeping them in a frame together is a feat and hilarious in itself.

Talking Hulk truly is one of the best things in Thor: Ragnarok. The personality that Hulk evokes now that he can finally express himself makes for interesting dynamics with whomever he’s interacting with. Pairing him with a trash panda, a rude foul-mouthed mean one at that, will surely bring some great gags. I kinda wanna see Rocket try to pull off his “Get me that guy’s leg” gag with Hulk. Maybe he tries to get Hulk to remove Bucky’s metal arm. Oh what joy would that bring in theaters.
