UPDATE: Some new photos of Kamala cosplaying as Captain Marvel on the set have surfaced.
The highly-anticipated Ms. Marvel has finally begun production and the first photos from the set are here. We can’t post them without getting sued to just check it in the link below.
Granted, there’s not much to look at there. It’s pretty much just the titular character played by newcomer Iman Vellani riding a bike with her co-stars. Still, it is pretty surreal to actually see something tangible from the set. If you look closely at her helmet, you’ll see that it’s Captain Marvel themed. They’re gonna be leaning hard on Kamala’s reverence for Carol Danvers and as a fan of the comics, that is super exciting. One of the pictures featuring someone sitting on the roof covering herself may also give us a hint at what Kamala’s suit looks like. Those bright red legging and blue boots are telling.
