Fans of the Inhumans comics who are hoping to see more of the weird and wonderful from the source material may be disappointed by this peek at the forthcoming fifth episode. That’s right, our favorite Royal Family is still in Hawaii, and by the looks of it, they’ve all adjusted somewhat, with their more human-looking clothing.

Jeez, is this an episode of Lost that we’re looking at? And that’s before you remember Ken Leung’s presence as a cast member, and looking at the synopsis, Desmond Hume himself (Henry Ian Cusick) shows up as a guest star. It’s nice however, to see Black Bolt (Anson Mount) and Medusa (Serinda Swan) together again—despite our gripes about the premiere, their relationship was one of the things we liked about the series so far.

The synopsis for episode five can be read here:

“Something Inhuman This Way Comes” – On the run from Auran’s forces, Black Bolt and Medusa reluctantly work with Louise to help locate the rest of their family. Back on Attilan, Maximus’ actions change the game completely, on an all-new episode of “Marvel’s Inhumans,” airing FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.

“Marvel’s Inhumans” stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Ken Leung as Karnak, Ellen Woglom as Louise, Sonya Balmores as Auran and Mike Moh as Triton. Henry Ian Cusick guest stars as Dr. Evan Declan.

Check out the promotional stills below:

No looks at Maximus (Iwan Rheon), but expect some Game of Thrones-like politicking from him. We’re not sure who actor Chad Buchanan is playing yet, whether he is a human that Crystal (Isabelle Cornish) befriends, or perhaps maybe even a NuHuman. Either way, I can tell you that I’ve personally never trusted a dude named “Chad.”
