When Agent Carter was officially renewed for a second season, the only confirmed cast member was star Hayley Atwell. At the time, it was also revealed that Peggy Carter would be leaving behind New York and heading out to Los Angeles. This left fans curious as to if any of the supporting cast would be returning, and if so, who?
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we know now that both James D’Arcy (Edwin Jarvis) and Enver Gjokaj (Agent Daniel Sousa) have signed on for season two. They are also reporting that deals are currently being worked out for Chad Michael Murray (Agent Jack Thompson), Bridget Regan (Dottie Underwood) and Lyndsy Fonseca (Angie Martinelli).
Here is the current synopsis for season two of Agent Carter:
“Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”
Season two, which will be ten episodes instead of eight, does not currently have a premiere date set, although it is expected to air around the same time as season one.
