As most of you know, production has recently started early this month in New York City for The Punisher, the fifth solo outing for Marvel on Netflix. While most of the details about the show have been scarce, set photos have steadily trickling in over the past few weeks. Now, thanks to Coming-Soon, we can get a new look at Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle going undercover in a new batch of set photos. You can check out the gallery below:
These photos don’t give us the the most exciting look at the Punisher, but they are interesting nonetheless. They appear to show Frank Castle going incognito, possibly on the run from someone or something, hiding out on the streets of New York. What’s interesting to note is that he’s not covered in blood, which suggests that these photos may be from early on in the series. It will be interesting to see why he is hiding, because if he’s not bloodied up after a fight, it’s all up in the air as to why he’s keeping a low profile. Looks like we’ll have to wait until the series releases to find out.
The Punisher is set to hit Netflix sometime in 2017.
