This should put all the worry to rest. Kevin Feige confirmed to Collider in an interview that the highly anticipated third film of Deadpool is indeed going to be in the MCU and will retain the R-rating that made the film such a hit among crowds.

It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.

The confirmation just comes a few weeks after it was announced that *Bob’s Burgers writers, the Molyneux Sisters, were tapped to write the film’s script. It was mentioned in that initial report that the film was likely going to be an R-rating but hearing it from Feige himself pretty much sets this in stone. The MCU is going to get crazier with all of Deadpool’s R-rated shenanigans.
