Many avid MCU collectors might be wondering about the possibility of a collector’s item for the entire Infinity Saga. It will be quite pricy as it contains all 23 films that have been released from 2008’s Iron Man to Avengers: Endgame. We got some great box sets for the first two phases featuring Infinity Stones that were heavily featured. While we technically are missing about three more stones for a complete collection, the third phase already ends with Thanos assembling the Infinity Gauntlet. It would make sense, especially with the new branding, to create an entire box set that features all films in the entire saga. Luckily, it seems that Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige has already considered that an option as revealed in a recent Q&A.
“If we do a big, giant Infinity Saga box set, we might include- I’m assuming if you’re going to spend the money to buy a box set with everything in it, you’re a fan. And it’ll take more than a couple of really, really bad scenes to turn you.”
They already are adding quite a lot with the Aveners: Endgame release but there are potentially quite a few storyboard scenes or deleted scenes that weren’t included in the last releases throughout the eleven years. Hopefully, if they make this box set, we also get some kind of container for the various films with unique artworks and a potential Infinity Gauntlet or Power Gauntlet. Owning that with all films included would have its very own charm that could make it worth the potentially high price.
There is the question if the Spider-Man films would be included. Far From Home switched from an epilogue of the Infinity Saga to becoming an official part of it. If they completely skip a Phase 3 box set, it would make sense to include both Homecoming and Far From Home especially with it being a part of the saga but they are not relased by Disney. Sony owns the publication rights to the character so they would have to make some kind of deal to also release these films as a part of the project.
