So little is known about what we can expect beyond Avengers: Infinity War and its still unnamed sequel. A few sequels have been announced or teased but there are still many unused characters from the vast Marvel gallery that could join the ever-expanding MCU. One of the most popular choices for a new franchise has been Moon Knight, whose multiple personality disorder seems like a perfect choice for Marvel Studios’ very own version of Split. It seems that he is currently under consideration alongside many different Marvel characters to join the MCU at some point in the near or far future. Kevin Feige teased a potential appearance in a recent interview as part of the Infinity War press junket after being asked if he could get his own film at some point.

“Yes. Does that mean five years from now, 10 years from now, 15 years from now? There are stacks of character cards that we have in our, in our development offices, which we look at. Which we pull for him, which we discussed.”

It is interesting to think that this darker character is at least being considered for a film but it does not seem like we can expect it anytime soon. Marvel Studios has expanded their line-up to include three films a year and at this rate, we could potentially see a fourth film join the yearly line-up. There is also the possibility that they expand the Netflix line-up with a Moon Knight TV series. His different personalities will require time to explore to highlight their impact on Marc Spector’s life. The franchise is also much darker when compared to Marvel Studios’ other films. There are theories that Black Widow might be the studios’ first attempt at an R-rated film. If it is successful there is a good chance that we could see Marc Spector fight alongside Spider-Man in the future.

Do you want a Moon Knight series or film? How do you think his story would work in cinemas?
