In less than a month, Tom Holland will make his big screen debut as the MCU’s Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. Having seen the film, I can assure you all that you will love him. With that said, the excitement for his newly titled Spider-Man: Homecoming is very high and now we just need some supporting characters to help him out. So far, Marisa Tomei (Aunt May) is the only confirmed member with Zendaya and Michael Keaton being rumored to join.
Well, now it appears that we have two more additions to the cast. The Wrap has reported that Laura Harrier has joined the cast in a significant role, with Deadline also saying that Tony Revolori is one of Peter’s high school classmates, and possibly friend. While little is known about each of them, Harrier playing Liz Allen would give us a break from Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane as a love interest, which is reportedly not the role Zendaya has. Jeff Sneider of The Wrap followed up by saying Revolori is playing Manuel.
So far this cast is very intriguing and diverse, and I’m interested to see who else they bring on board. Let us know what you think about these two actors joining the cast in the comments below!
Spider-Man: Homecoming is scheduled to hit theaters July 7, 2017.
