Another day, another cast member has been added to Marvel’s Luke Cage. Marvel has just announced that actor Mahershala Ali has joined the cast as Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes. It was originally rumored that Cottonmouth would be the villain for the first season back in July, but at the time it was nothing more than a rumor.

Ali joins a cast that also includes Alfre Woodard as Minetta, Theo Rossi as Shades, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, and Mike Colter who stars in the titular role.
