The cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home continues to grow as the days go by. Following the casting of Numan Acar as the mysterious Dimitri – who we really think is Chameleon – and the all-but-confirmed appearance of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, it appears that another MCU regular may make an appearance in the film: Maria Hill. Numan Acar took to Instagram today to share with the world he has officially started filming the movie. In his original post, which he has since deleted due to the snipers, he included the #MariaHill. Peculiar, no?

It’s probably an MCU rule of thumb at this point that with Jackson’s Nick Fury comes Cobie Smulders‘ Maria Hill. We last saw the dynamic duo turn into dust at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Them possibly appearing together in this film is an indication that Fury and Hill are still a tightly-knit unit working beyond the events of Avengers 4. I do wonder if their alleged presence in this film will entail a new government defense apparatus like SHIELD or if it’ll be just Fury and Hill keeping an eye of supers on their own.
