Spoiler Warning: This post contains spoilers for Avengers: Age of Ultron
Avengers: Age of Ultron has officially hit theaters and breaking box office records along the way.
In only his second appearance, Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk) has become a fan favorite.
Collider got a chance to talk with him a few days ago and he spilled the beans on his Marvel contract, if he will appear in Captain America: Civil War, his future in the MCU, the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and more.
Everyone is eager to see more of Ruffalo in the MCU and have been curious just how long he will stick around. He revealed his contract length and more saying-
I think its 4 now but that could go further… I could show up in another character’s movie. I could do another Avengers, 3 and 4. I could do a Hulk stand alone.
Captain America: Civil War started filming last week and we got our first look at some concept art earlier today. It has been labeled by most as another Avengers movie, even Chris Evans teased it’s impact, but it may be without our favorite green giant.
I don’t know that I’m in it.
Without an appearance in Civil War, Ruffalo is not certain when he will appear next.
I really don’t know where I fit in and I’m not sure they do either.
The ending to Avengers: Age of Ultron showed the Hulk flying in a quinjet with no destination in sight. There were rumors he would end up in space and kick off a Planet Hulk or World War Hulk story, but the actor does not see that happening.
It doesn’t look like he’s going into space. I don’t see any atmosphere changes.
We do know that there will not be a Hulk solo movie anytime soon after it was confirmed that Universal still holds distribution rights, but Ruffalo sounds optimistic that a deal could be struck.
I don’t think that’s insurmountable.
