Sometimes, when a show is in development, we go months without any new details. Such is the case for Marvel’s Cloak And Daggerfrom which we haven’t heard anything since their confusing publicity at New York Comic-Con. While significant real estate advertised the series in New York, and Marvel gave away some posters for the show, there still wasn’t any big reveal for the series. The series, about which very little has leaked, wrapped filming on the first season back in November. Yet, despite Freeform claiming a “Winter 2018” Premiere date, we have gone half-way through January without knowing when we’ll actually get to meet these teenage superheroes.

Let the countdown begin, because at the winter TCAs, Freeform announced that Cloak And Dagger will be coming to television on Thursday, June 7. According to VarietyCloak and Dagger will have a monstrous two-hour premiere.

Set and filmed in New Orleans, Cloak And Dagger is Marvel’s first project on Freeform, the ABC cable channel that aims for a younger audience. This may be the only new show that we see on cable television for the MCU, as we recently learned that there won’t be any new Marvel projects on ABC this year.

Are you excited that we finally know when Cloak And Dagger are coming to television? Let us know in the comments.
