According to the Wrap, Marvel Studios is courting Ava DuVernay for a “diverse super hero movie”, which would likely be Black Panther or Captain Marvel. Her film schedule is probably too busy for it to be one of the 2017 films, and The Wrap is reporting that insiders are suggesting it’s most likely Black Panther. DuVernay, best known for Selma, was high on our list of directors we wanted for Black Panther, so it’s no surprise to us that Marvel is looking her way for one of their upcoming films.
