While several productions of MCU properties have been put on hold due to the Coronavirus outbreak, one Marvel show seemed to escape the virus. It has been confirmed that the principal photography of Marvel’s Helstrom has finished. This was confirmed by Alain Uy, who reportedly plays Chris Yen in the series, as he shared the news via his Instagram profile. You can check out a screenshot of his Instagram story from a tweet below.

This is good news for the fans of the Helstrom character. However, the question remains if the show will be connected to the larger MCU or this will be a self-contained story similar to what other Marvel TV shows have been doing in the past. We already know that the show will premiere at Hulu but it is unclear when will it release. Since production has finished already, a premiere date announcement is very much likely in the next couple of months. Another question remains if this will only be a single-season order or the story will span into multiple seasons. Marvel’s Helstrom stars Tom Austen as Daimon Helstrom alongside Sydney Lemmon as his sister, Ana.
