Last year at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios released an overwhelming amount of information in their one-hour panel. Among the casting announcements, movie details, and trailers, there was the first look at the new Marvel Studios logo. The new logo differentiated Marvel Studios from Marvel Television, making the two entities feel a little less connected. The new, more metallic logo also looks more appropriate for the cosmic direction that the movies are taking.
In Paris, yesterday, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige revealed that there will be yet another change to the Marvel Studios logo, next year. The change will be for a very special reason.
Like Star Wars, Marvel Studios will have a special logo for the 10th anniversary of the mcu next year
Of course, Star Wars has been around a bit longer than the MCU, so the logo to which Feige is referring is for the 40th anniversary of the series. But a decade of high-quality connected movies is an amazing achievement, and we can expect that Marvel, and Disney, will be sure to make a big deal of this milestone. We will probably see this new logo at the D23 presentation on July 15 or when Marvel presents in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con a week later.
How else would you like to see the MCU honored for reaching this milestone? Let us know, in the comments!
