Adrianne Paliki Considers Whether She’d Be Up For Mockingbird’s Involvement In Ragnorok

mockingbird-1

Bearing in mind the fact that Thor:Ragnorok is likely to be taking place mostly off-world, not to mention the continuous sense of disconnect between Marvel’s TV and Movie divisions, the chances of Adrianne Paliki‘s Bobbi Morse appearing in Thor’s third outing are pretty remote.

Regardless, while attending the Supanova Pop Culture Expo, a local paper asked her if she’d be up for reprising her role as Mockingbird next to the norse demi-god, She responded positively with an ‘anything’s possible’ kind of reasoning, going on to mention her long term involvement with comic book related media.

“I think this is my fourth comic book character I’m playing. I grew up in a household where my brother is a comic book writer, so I wanted to do everything he did so I got into comic books that way as well.

James Gunn Posts Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2 Pre-Viz Sketches

Guadians-Vol-2-Logo

Concerning Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, James Gunn is beginning to share some not-so-terribly-revealing sketches via Twitter. There’s not much in the way of plot points be derived from these images beyond ‘Rocket Racoon climbs on someone and maybe puts something in their eye?’. They do perhaps give a little insight into Gunn’s creative process that isn’t afraid to embrace what you might call ‘lo-fi pre-viz’.

Guardians of the Galaxy is released May 5th 2017.

Iron Fist’s Finn Jones Shares ‘A Moment He’ll Never Forget’

Finn Jones - Iron Fist

A newly cast Defender Finn Jones took time out of a Game of Thrones related interview to talk Iron Fist, specifically regarding the moment he found out he’d got the gig.

As the sun set, the phone rang and it was all my agents telling me I’d got the job. It will be a moment in my life that I’ll never, ever, ever forget. It was weird and beautiful and I am so happy to be playing Iron Fist.

When pressed on what to expect from the show, he’s not able to give much away, but he gets points for fanning the flames of fan anticipation.

I can’t really say to much about the show. It’s awesome? I’m very excited to start filming and fans are not going to be disappointed.

Still really chuffed for this actor who’s increasingly looking like another ace in the hole in terms of casting. You can watch the video here.

Iron Fist is due to be released on Netflix early 2017.
