Making Of The Daredevil Title Sequence, Bernthal Has An Intense Fan Encounter
It took a whole team to make the amazing opening credits sequence for Daredevil and one of the crew, Miguel Salek, has posted a behind-the-scenes look at the work he did.
Punisher actor Jon Bernthal stopped by Conan this week to talk about his new role and revealed a bit of an intense encounter he had with a comic fan.
“I go into a comic book store in Brooklyn,” he said. “I get a whole stack and I go up to buy them and he looks at me and goes, ‘Yeah, I know who you are.’ ” After striking down his reading material, the worker warned Bernthal, “Do not mess this up.”
And thanks to the Finnish Netflix Twitter account, we’ve got a neat little promo for the show that invites you to put on headphones and hear the world the way Matt Murdock does.

S.H.I.E.L.D. EP Discusses Malick’s Daughter
Last week’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. had a rather anti-climactic tag when it revealed Malick’s daughter. But according to EW and EP Jeff Bell, we’ll be seeing a lot more of her.
Nat, what can you tell us about Bethany Joy Lenz on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.??? Am I going to hate this character or love her??? — Mariangela
She’s probably not a good guy in disguise, so I’d say hate. “What’s interesting to me about the end of that [episode] is it seems like she was just raised in the family business,” EP Jeff Bell tells me. “It’s not what you expect. Powers Boothe really has done a great job this season, and not just being like ‘I’m a heavy bad guy, head of Hydra,’ but we really take him to interesting places going forward and I think he does a great job. A big part of that is the relationship he has with his daughter. I look forward to you getting to see that.”
Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays on ABC.
Loki Reveals Who He’d Side With In Civil War, New Clip To Air During MTV Movie Awards
While speaking with Yahoo!, Loki actor Tom Hiddleston revealed whose side he would pick in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War.
“He’s clearly on Team Loki,” said Hiddleston with a laugh. “They were all fairly unkind to him in ‘The Avengers,’ so I’m not sure he would be taking sides. I think he would be sitting on a rooftop somewhere enjoying the fact that the children are squabbling. Going, ‘Ah! This is entertaining.’”
Superhero Hype has the news that a clip from the film will be debuting during MTV’s Movie Awards on Sunday, April 10th. And if you’ll be attending CinemaCon on April 13th, Indiewire has learned that the entire film will be screening there, 2 weeks ahead of its UK debut and 3 before it comes to the US. They also have a quote Winter Soldier actor Sebastian Stan gave to USA Today about Bucky’s relationship with Steve.
“Bucky was always looking out for him when Steve was a smaller weak kid who needed direction and guidance,” Stan told USA Today. “Steve’s become the caretaking parent and Bucky is more of an unstable child now — someone who’s really struggling to have more of a sense of identity and is totally lost and confused with who he is.”
Finally, The Russo Brothers have posted a photo of Anthony Russo and producer Nate Moore on the Atalanta set of the movie.
Captain America: Civil War debuts on May 6th.
Making Of The Marvel Mini Coke Ad
One of the highlights of the Super Bowl commercials this year was a fun collaboration between Marvel and Coke to promote their new Coke Mini. In it, Ant-Man (voiced by Paul Rudd) steals a Coke Mini from Bruce Banner which stirs the ire of the Hulk who chases the hero down. The team behind the spot posted a making-of video for the ad the you can view at the link below (sadly, they won’t allow us to embed it).
