Elizabeth Olsen Admits She Wouldn’t Want A Scarlet Witch Solo Film

One of the things Marvel fans have been eager to see is a female fronted superhero movie in the MCU, something of which we’ll finally see when Captain Marvel hits movie theaters in 2018. While many are eager to see Carol Danvers come to life on the big screen, there are still fans hoping to see one of the other female heroes get their due on the big screen too, such as Black Widow and Scarlet Witch.

While promoting her upcoming film, Elizabeth Olsen was asked if she’d ever be interested in headlining her own Scarlet Witch film, an idea she seemed far from comfortable with.

“The pressure of a tentpole movie on my shoulders doesn’t feel comfortable,” Olsen said with a laugh.

She also went on to mention that she currently has her schedule worked out for filming next year, seemingly confirming her return for the two part epic, Avengers: Infinity War, which will begin production late next year.

“The good thing about Marvel is they have so many other things going on that they have to plan their year so specifically,” she told Business Insider. “I already know my block of time for them for the next year, and I have a lot of time until then, so I’m in a position right now where I’m trying to find another film like ‘I Saw The Light.’

Scarlet Witch can next be seen in Captain America: Civil War which will hit movie theaters on May 6th, 2015.

Spider-Man Has Been Active For Some Time In Civil War

One of the things Kevin Feige has been open about regarding Spider-Man, is that the hero will have been active for some time before making his debut in the MCU. What we didn’t know was what “some time” meant. According to a new report from Heroic Hollywood, Spidey will have been active for a little over a year prior to making his MCU debut.

According to sources, the latest rumor is that Peter Parker has been active as Spider-Man for a little over a year during the events of Captain America: Civil War. Just like Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Spider-Man is considered a myth, an urban legend.

Tom Holland will make his debut as Spider-Man in next year’s Captain America: Civil War before headlining his own Spider-Man film in 2017.
