Daniel Brühl Spotted on Set of Civil War

We’ve seen a good amount of set photos for Captain America: Civil War, which is currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia, showcasing a good amount of the massive Civil War cast. One of the actors that we hadn’t seen on set though was Daniel Brühl (Baron Zemo). Thanks to a new photo by Twitter user Atlanta Filming, we have our first look at Brühl making his way to set.

He isn’t in costume, as most of the filming has been indoors as of late, but it’s our first glance of him on set since the film entered production back in June, so it’s pretty exciting.

Wesley Snipes Talks Blade

Actor Wesley Snipes, who famously starred in the Blade films, recently told Deadline that he has spoken to Marvel about the character and possibly portraying the role again.

DEADLINE: Well, will you be bringing the vampire hunter back?

SNIPES: The project is controlled by Marvel and we did have a really productive and a wonderful meeting and we discussed a number of things. I don’t know where it’s on their schedule at this point, that hasn’t been decided. I guess it’s still up in the air.

DEADLINE: Could we see you going the ever expanding Marvel Universe in another way?

SNIPES: That’s a possibility too. I’ve always been a fan of these pieces and adaptations and I’d be nice to be a part of the family again. But if we don’t to a Blade 4 or something else with Marvel, we’ll do something else. We have some other characters and some other concepts that are going to be just as exciting and hopefully just as successful. The first season of The Player will be interesting as well because we have drama and action, which is what I like. It gives me a chance to do a number of different things.

Given how many problems Snipes caused during the filming of Blade: Trinity, I’d be surprised if anything became of these talks. Still, it’s nice to see something possibly going on at Marvel concerning Blade.

Joe Quesada Teases New Spider-Man Costume

With progress on the new Spider-Man franchise moving steadily along, fans have been wondering when we’ll begin to hear more about the web-slinger’s suit.

IGN had a chance to talk to Joe Quesada while at SDCC this week, and he gushed about the new costume.

“I’ve seen a lot of design work that’s been done on the costume. I think there are elements of it that are really going to blow people away where they are going to go ‘Ah, that’s Marvel doing Spider-Man.”

Tom Holland will make his first appearance as Spider-Man in next year’s Captain America: Civil War, before going on to star in his own [still untitled] solo film in 2017.
