Next year, Marvel will launch it’s third Netflix exclusive franchise with Luke Cage. The show’s star, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, has been attached for a while now and thankfully we won’t have to wait ’til his own series to see him in action. Cage will first appear in a few episodes of Jessica Jones which will hit the streaming service later this year.
Over the past month, Colter has started to get some supporting characters around him. We’ve seen a few of these characters Mahershala Ali and Alfre Woodard, on the set of the show, but Colter had so far been absent from the public’s eye. That has changed now as he has been spotted outside a barber shop and sweeping the street. While the photos aren’t too exciting themselves, it is nice to see him on set and hopefully means we can start to get a sense for the show.
Luke Cage is projected to hit Netflix in summer/fall of 2016, but you can see him in action on November 20th when Jessica Jones premieres exclusively on Netflix.
