The Disney+ era of the MCU is fast approaching! Although Marvel Studios’ presence on the newly released streaming service isn’t set to officially come until late 2020, WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier have both begun production and shooting, and we now have a bit more news as well concerning another future project as well! Thanks to  MCUExchange super-source Charles Murphy, we have learned that Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight is set to film at Pinewood UK, possibly as early as next year.

There is still no start date attached to this news as of yet, but the possibility we’re hoping for is that the new series will begin shooting in the UK in between the productions of Eternals, set to finish in early 2020, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, expected to start sometime next summer. This is assuming everything remains on its current schedule, and this could mean a couple big things if that remains the case.

There is a chance we may hear some big casting announcements for the new Marvel shows over the next month or two, and with all of these projects filming at the same time, it could mean Marvel’s release schedule over 2020 and 2021 will be getting much more crowded with content than we were originally expecting. Now that we have a shooting location for Moon Knight, all we can do now is wait for more news on casting and a definitive release time as we get closer and closer to finally seeing Marvel Studios’ long-awaited debut on Disney+ in 2020!
