Often times to celebrate the release of new Marvel films, Marvel partners with food brands to increase anticipation for their new films. In the past, Marvel has teamed up with companies such as Doritos and Coca-Cola to promote their upcoming films. This year, Post Cereal are working together with Marvel to promote the release of this summer’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. On a catalog sent out to Canadian grocery stores, Post Cereal have unveiled their new products. The flyer presents their brands “Honey Bunch of Oats”, “Honeycomb”, and “Shreddies” featuring new promotional art for the film. The art shows off both Spider-Man and villain Vulture.


For comic fans, the cereal boxes come with a code that can be redeemed for 1 of 2 digital comics, exclusively made for the cereal brand.

For the New Spider-Man Homecoming theatrical release, Post partnered with Marvel to create our exclusive Spider-Man digital comic book. Each box contains a pin code allowing consumers to download and enjoy one part of the two-part series.

Along with these have come a new photo of the web-slinger. Arms crossed and ready for action, the photo gives us a very good look at the Spider-Man suit that will be used in the film.


Spider-Man: Homecoming releases on July 7, 2017 and stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Marissa Tomei, and Rober Downey Jr.
