Without any confirmed streaming service or network to go to, news surrounding the fate of Marvel’s New Warriors has been nebulous lately. A couple of weeks ago, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the show was being pulled from Freeform, following the network’s failure to allot a proper timeslot for the show. We recently speculated that the show may eventually end up in Disney’s home network, ABC, but that remains to be the official case. Nonetheless, the cast has finally gotten together in a new photo released by Derek Theler, teasing that things are very much underway for the show.

So from left to right, you have Theler who is playing Mr. Immortal, Kevin Beigel the showrunner, Matthew Moy as Microbe, Jeremy Tardy as Night Thrasher, Milana Vayntrub as Squirrel Girl, Kate Comer as Debrii, and Calum Worthy as Speedball. A pretty good looking and spot-on bunch if you ask me. I know nothing about most of these kids save for Milana who plays the AT&T girl and Calum Worthy, who killed it in Netflix’s American Vandal. Rumor has it that the pilot they shot drove some of the Disney execs mad with excitement with how good it was so seeing a mere cast photo gets us giddy with hype too.
