We’re a day away from New York Comic Con, which means we can expect plenty of news from the Marvel Television front. Along with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter, Marvel’s first two Netflix shows will also be making an appearance at the convention, and much like last year, Marvel has just revealed an exclusive concept art poster that’ll be distributed to fans lucky enough to attend the con!
There’s a notable difference between the poster that was released by Quesada last year. The season one poster saw Matt in his original black costume, which was officially replaced in the final episode of the first season. While the season two poster highlights the new costume, as well as Matt’s new persona as the Daredevil of Hell’s Kitchen. Most interestingly, however, is that it looks as though The Punisher skull is on the ground beneath him! A nice little tease for fans.
It’s easy to presume that the all red design in this poster means that we’ll see an updated costume for the second season, but it’s also worth noting that the costume design itself is still rather similar to the red costume from the first season. So it’s hard to tell at the moment. Still, it’s hard not to get excited by this new poster!
And for fans of Jessica Jones, I’d say it’s safe to assume we’ll get our first poster for the show over the next couple of days!
Season two of Daredevil, which is currently filming in New York, is set to hit Netflix in 2016.
