After months of speculating, Marvel has finally announced a release date for Jessica Jones, and it appears our guess of November 17th was pretty close. Per Marvel, Jessica Jones will hit Netflix on November 20th, 2015!
The news comes after a Reddit user noticed that the page for Jessica Jones received a bit of an update yesterday, although it appeared the change didn’t stay up very long.
This is the first official news we’ve heard from Marvel regarding the series since it wrapped production a few weeks back. However, while Marvel has been quiet, Jessica Jones herself, Krysten Ritter, recently appeared on the This Week In Marvel podcast to talk about what fans can expect from the show. We broke down the interview here, picking out the most interesting bits – including details on the romance between Jessica Jones and Luke Cage (Mike Colter).
With an official release date having finally been announced, a poster and a trailer shouldn’t be too far behind now, especially with NYCC looming!
