After a slow few weeks, Marvel has unleashed the news today, particularly pertaining to Captain America: Civil War. So far we’ve gotten confirmation that Martin Freeman is playing Everett Ross, our first look at Chadwick Boseman outside of his Black Panther suit, as well as a close look at Scarlet Witch’s new costume. Now, they’ve brought us even more news, this time concerning the ending of the film – which has seen some rumors suggesting big surprises already – as well as the return of a certain character fans have been asking about since Avengers: Age of Ultron.
While we’ve read plenty of rumors regarding the ending of the film, we won’t know the actual ending until May, still, that hasn’t stopped director Joe Russo from teasing a “dramatic ending”.
The consequences of Civil War will have an even more significant impact [than The Winter Soldier]. In Civil War, we’re going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Psychology, and it’s an extreme shift.
Very dramatic ending that will be controversial for a lot of people.
Could those rumors – note: don’t click the link if you’re avoiding spoilers – prove to be true? It definitely sounds possible!
Another interesting tidbit that should make fans happy, actress Gwyneth Paltrow who has played Pepper Potts in the Iron Man films, hasn’t been seen on screen since Iron Man 3. However, that looks to be changing with Captain America: Civil War. According to the folks over at Comic Book Movie, Empire Magazine has confirmed that the actress took part in the recent re-shoots for the film, meaning we should expect to see her pop up at some point in the film.
As well as mentioning that test audiences have been split when it comes to rooting for either #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan, the magazine confirms that Gwyneth Paltrow took part in reshoots for Captain America: Civil War, so we now know for sure that Pepper Potts will be back!
