Finally, an official answer. After weeks of fans debating whether Black Widow should be simply put on a streaming service or stay true to its theatrical run, Disney has selected the latter, giving Natasha Romanoff’s debut film a November release later this year. This move also confirms the pushing back of the rest of Phase 4.

At least for the time being, it seems like Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be the property to kick off the fourth phase of the MCU. The production for that show has not yet been completed as the quarantines and lockdowns were implemented just as they were knee-deep in filming. In addition to all these shifts, Captain Marvel 2 now has a July 2022 release date.
