While there was a powerhouse list of characters involved in Captain America: Civil War, there were two Avengers notably absent: Thor, and Bruce Banner/The Hulk. There has been much speculation from fans as to where the characters were, while not being a part of the action. Much of this speculation was based on the idea that they were away from Earth, in a situation that we’ll see play out more in Thor: Ragnarok.
In a video that originally premiered as San Diego Comic-Con, we can now all see that Thor (Chris Hemsworth) was in Australia, trying to be a normal person in the aftermath of Avengers: Age of Ultron. The interesting part is that he knows about the fight that Tony Stark and Steve Rogers are having, and appears to be upset that he wasn’t contacted by either side. In this video, we learn that Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) was contacted by Stark, and vehemently stated he wanted no part in the battle.
The clip will be available as a part of the Captain America: Civil War Digital Package, available in the United States on September 2nd. Which team are you on? Team Thor? Team Iron Man? Team Captain America? Let us know in the comments below!
