It is officially Captain America: Civil War week and as we wait to see Captain America and Iron Man go head to head, we know that this movie should have a profound impact on the MCU. The introduction of the Sokovia Accords brings into question how effective the Avengers are at saving the world. While they do the job, they do it in a way that means there are substantial costs to repair the damage they have done.

In the newest WHIH report, William Sadler reprises his role as President Ellis and speaks to Christine Everhart (Leslie Bibb) and Will Adams (Al Madrigal) about the controversy surrounding the Avengers. As you can see in the video at the top, in an effort to better regulate the Avengers, Ellis has named Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross (William Hurt) as the new Secretary of State. The video is another nice attempt to tie everything together and the ticker at the bottom once again features plenty of MCU references. We see the ATCU mentioned, Stephen Strange gets name dropped, new research from Abraham Erskine, the continued disappearance of Bruce Banner, and a few other possible connections.

We will have to wait and see if these videos continue post-Civil War but we will know the answer sooner rather than later.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016.
