Near the end of last year, Marvel started production on the second Phase 3 film Doctor Strange. The movie boasts one of the most impressive casts to date in a Marvel movie. In a movie full of magic, other dimensions, and more, it could be hard for some viewers to grasp the crazy world they are seeing.

This is where Rachel McAdams‘ character will come into play. Her normal nature will draw Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to her and will allow the audience to follow the story. Previously, Kevin Feige has said she is a fellow surgeon, and now McAdams has confirmed just that while talking to News.com.au.

I can’t tell you anything about it. I’m afraid someone from Marvel will jump out of a closet, but all I can say is that I’m playing a doctor, plus most of my scenes are with Benedict. It’s all good.

With McAdams confirming she is playing another doctor, those previous rumors of her playing Christine Palmer seem more credible. Hopefully, Marvel will be releasing a full cast list with confirmed roles soon.

Doctor Strange is scheduled to hit theaters November 4, 2016.
