Marvel Studios’ The Eternals is set to introduce us to a new cosmic team backed up by a pretty massive cast of A-list Hollywood actors. Big names such as Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kit Harington, and Gemma Chan are part of the ensemble and it seems that there are more major actors set to be announced. This was seemingly confirmed by Richard Madden who plays Ikaris in the film.
Having recently been awarded as the Hugo Boss Most Stylish Man Award, the Game of Thrones alumnus revealed that he is thankful that he gets to be part of the Phase 4 movie but he plays coy on giving out details of the film’s production.
I wish I could but there will be some Marvel snipers that will take me out if I say anything about it. And apart from it’s a really gorgeous, amazing cast of people, I’m very privileged to be a part of.
Madden then teased the exciting news when asked by GQ Britain about him being starstruck when it comes to working side by side with the A-list actors from the film.
I always get starstruck. And there are some more actors yet to be announced in that lineup which is gonna be crazy.
He also revealed that he knows who they are and he is tight-lipped about it. The unannounced major actors are sure to be dissected by fans and insiders. We reported way back that the film is looking for a gay Asian lead and this might be one of the unannounced roles. Starfox is a good candidate as he is a member of the team from the comics. One interesting tidbit is that he is the brother of the Mad Titan, Thanos. Who knows? We might see a younger Thanos himself when the movie premieres next year. As we all know, Marvel Studios has a lot of surprises in the bag.
