As most of you know, filming is well underway for next year’s Avengers: Infinity War, and we couldn’t be more excited to see earth’s mightiest heroes assemble again to take on the most dangerous threat the MCU has ever seen. We’re just less than one year away from the film’s release, and if history is any indicator, we should be getting our first trailer sometime in October. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking, and it is a long time to wait. So, to tide us all over until the film’s release, Robert Downey, Jr. has teamed up with Omaze to offer fans a chance to win an all-access visit to the set of Infinity War. You can hear it from the man himself in the video below:
Sounds awesome, right? All you have to do to enter is donate at this link. The best part about it? All proceeds will benefit Random Act Funding, which is a charitable organization founded by RDJ and his wife, Susan. As the name implies, the organization helps fund many different causes from year to year, and some of this year’s benefiting partners include Atlanta Children’s Shelter, Children’s Restoration Network, and Covenant House Georgia. As an added bonus, the winner of the campaign will also get to help Robert and Susan choose one more organization to support through the campaign. So get on over there and enter to support some awesome organizations in my home state, and maybe you’ll get to join RDJ on the set of Infinity War!
Now, let’s talk about that video. It’s pretty short, but there are a few takeaways we can gather from the few shots we got of the set. First off, while filming is currently underway in Scotland, the footage in this video seems to have been taken from the set in Atlanta. That being said, we got to see a good shot from inside one of the sound stages at Pinewood Studios, where most of the studio shooting will be taking place in the Peach State. The best look comes around the 0:15 mark, where we see several cast and crew members. Most everyone in the shot appears to be on the film crew, but we do get to see RDJ and Tom Holland front and center, along with someone who appears to be Chris Pratt‘s stunt double for Star-Lord on the right hand side of the shot. Wherever they are in the film, it appears to be the same set we got to see in the first production teaser video. The same set appears at the 0:30 mark.
Avengers: Infinity War is set for release one year from today, May 4, 2018.
