It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything substantial on the highly-anticipated sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home but our friend Charles Murphy is looking to change all that. According to Murphy’s Multiverse, Marvel Studios is looking to cast a Joel Kinnaman-type actor to play an unknown role in the film. That unknown role in the film is looking likely to be Kraven, a character that’s been long rumored to appear in this set of Spidey films.
Kinnaman seems like a fantastic fit for the role, even just on a visual level. Talent-wise, he’s got the chops for it. He and Tom Holland have worked together previously on Edge of Winter so they’ve got an established working relationship. But then again, this could report could end up being just like that Alison Brie-type for She-Hulk news we heard a while back. It’s not a sure thing that they’re getting Kinnaman. They’re looking for someone of his stature to be in the film. Why they don’t just straight up hire the dude is beyond me but this news is exciting as it gives us a picture of what they want for their film.
