We seem to be learning more and more about the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming with the title apparently being Spider-Man: Field Trip according to a Reddit user by the name of /r/AHarbingerOfStuff, who has released many tidbits of information about the sequel in a single post. This title would certainly be in-keeping with the last subtitle, which also bluntly alluded to the high school setting, and it would be inline with the movie being a globetrotting adventure for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, according to Kevin Feige.
Additionally, the user claims that the movie is mainly set in London with Peter attending a conference sponsored by Stark Industries with Gwyneth Paltrow returning as Pepper Potts, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Laura Harrier as Liz, Tony Revolori as Flash and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, alongside the other Midtown students and staff from Spider-Man: Homecoming.
It is interesting to see Liz returning despite the ending of Spider-Man: Homecoming and her moving away to a different state and school, but it could be in connection with Micheal Keaton returning as The Vulture.
Now, this should all be taken with a happy helping of salt since, unlike the last Reddit user, this one doesn’t inspire much confidence at all, as this is the only “leak” that they’ve ever posted.
