Here’s something we didn’t expect in the middle of SDCC chaos. Hulu has just announced that their Marvel tentpole series The Runaways will be premiering later this year on November 21. That’s way earlier than what people were predicting for this show. For the longest time, a 2018 release was expected of this show given how most of Marvel TV’s properties were slated for early next year. Regardless, we’re getting a new Marvel show that will premiere concurrently with the November-slated Punisher show! Praise be the Marvel overlords blessing us with an embarrassment of riches!
The series has 10 episodes and will be released weekly every Tuesday following that November 21. That should suffice once we finish binging Punisher and start waiting for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to premiere. There’s no word yet on whether the show will make an appearance at SDCC but given the increasing amount of bootlegged trailers and lack of official movement from the show, we reckon they should. Regardless, stay tuned to this site anyway for SDCC in case they decide to follow our word!
