It’s officially NYCC week so there will be a lot of Marvel TV goodness coming in the next few days. Ahead of the Runaways presentation, Marvel and Hulu have dropped the much-awaited trailer for the second season. Check it out!
One of my biggest gripes with the first season was that it didn’t have much of the visual flair from Brian K. Vaughan‘s comic. It seems that will be rectified by Season 2 as the trailer teases a lot of action reminiscent of Vaughan’s run. We get to see the kids finally live as runaways in a very comic-faithful underground hideout and them fully testing the limits of their powers. There’s a ‘blink-and-you’ll-miss-it’ appearance from what might be Victor Mancha; the hooded kid with the glowing eyes is suspect. Jonah continues to bring more intrigue and mystery to the show which I hope they answer. It also looks like there’ll be some real action set pieces this time around. And of course, more Old Lace. We cannot wait for all episodes to drop in December.
