There’s a lot riding on Avengers: Endgame. Not only is it the conclusion of the 10-year story known as the Infinity Saga but it’s also a farewell to some of our beloved heroes. On top of that, Disney has the run time to worry about because the shorter the movie is, the more screenings theaters can have. When asked about audience response during the film’s test screenings, the duo had this to say:

We’re vigilant about using test audiences to tell us whether we’re on the right track or we’re making bad decisions. With Endgame, it had one of the most incredible audience responses in Marvel history. Irrespective of the length, it’s been consistently embraced by the test audiences.

The current Avengers: Endgame run time is purported at a whopping 3 hours and 2 minutes. Even though that run time has yet to be officially confirmed by Disney themselves (theaters have already retracted the initial posting), the Russos have been consistently on record saying the film would approximately run at that length. If these test reactions mean anything, it’s that we’re in for one powerful ride.
